RhinoLaserGRBL is downloadable software for Rhino 8 on Windows. Licenses are purchased once; the right to use eligible versions does not expire merely because the update period ends.

1. Supplier and contact

RhinoLaserGRBL is developed and supplied by Roger Pinheiro, an independent developer based in Dongguan, Guangdong, China. These terms cover RhinoLaserGRBL only, not other activities or products hosted on the OSBASE website. Product, licensing and support enquiries: grbl@osbase.com.br.

2. Product and requirements

The plugin prepares laser cutting and engraving jobs and communicates with compatible GRBL controllers. A separately licensed installation of Rhino 8 for Windows and compatible hardware are required. Rhino, laser machines and controllers are not included. Consult the compatibility and safety documentation and use the 15-day trial to evaluate your setup before purchasing.

3. License plans

More than 10 computers require a separate written quotation. One purchased unit represents one license package. Activations are for computers controlled by the licensed person or organization. Contact support when replacing a computer or needing an activation reset; removing a local license file alone does not establish entitlement to additional computers.

4. Perpetual use and updates

Each license includes 12 months of software updates from purchase. You may continue using versions covered by your license after that period, subject to these terms and continued compatibility with your system. Access to later releases requires an optional update renewal at the price offered at that time. There is no automatic renewal or recurring subscription for these license packages. Perpetual licensing does not promise perpetual development, compatibility with future third-party software, or unlimited support.

5. Payment and delivery

For orders completed through Paddle, Paddle is the merchant of record and authorized reseller. The Paddle Buyer Terms apply to the payment transaction. The checkout shows the currency, applicable taxes and final total before payment. This website does not collect your full card number or card security code.

Delivery is digital: download access and license activation instructions are provided using the email address associated with the confirmed order. Hardware-bound activation may require your machine identifier. If delivery or activation fails, contact support with your order reference. No physical product is shipped.

6. Permitted use and ownership

The license permits personal or commercial use within its computer limit. Software is licensed, not sold. Do not share or resell license files, bypass licensing controls, or redistribute proprietary software without permission. Exceptions allowed by applicable law and rights under third-party open-source licenses remain unaffected. RhinoLaserGRBL is an independent product; purchase does not provide a Rhino license or imply endorsement by Rhino's developer.

7. Machine safety

You are responsible for safe machine setup, suitable materials, ventilation, protective equipment, interlocks and supervision. Check the origin, workspace limits, laser power, feed rate and toolpath before running a job. Never leave an operating laser unattended. Software previews do not replace physical safety controls. Back up your designs and machine settings.

8. Refunds and support

See the Refund Policy for requests, payment-provider rules and mandatory rights. Technical support is available by email; no guaranteed response time or service-level agreement is included unless agreed separately.

9. Responsibility and mandatory rights

No guarantee is made that the plugin will work with every controller, firmware or machine configuration. To the extent allowed by law, the supplier is not responsible for losses caused by unsafe operation, unsupported modifications or use contrary to documentation. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded, including applicable mandatory consumer remedies, or limits rights relating to defective or misdescribed software.

10. Termination and changes

Rights under a refunded license end when its purchase is refunded. A material breach of these terms may result in termination, with notice and a reasonable opportunity to remedy the breach where appropriate. Changes will be dated on this page; they do not retroactively remove paid perpetual-use rights. Applicable mandatory consumer protections remain in force.
